I write fiction (Monsoon Summer, The Not-So-Star-Spangled Life of Sunita Sen, Rickshaw Girl, First Daughter: Extreme American Makeover, First Daughter: White House Rules, and Secret Keeper). I enjoy good storytelling and samosas with spicy mango pickle, preferably at the same time.
You have surely heard about the tragic death of a brave young woman who was murdered in Iran just for peacefully protesting with her father on the streets of Teheran.
It is a great day to be alive! What Question can I ask to empower myself and others? What new thought can I notice now to add to my creativity? How can I improve the experience of those I encounter today? What can I do to facilitate your Gift?
Yesterday Is History Tomorrow is a Mystery Today is a Gift... That's why we call it the Present
Just wanted to say how much I LOVE the First Daughter books. Blogged about them today. Just wondering *fingers crossed* will there be more? I'd love to hear about all four years in the White House. xo, j
Hi Mitali! I hope you'll check out my latest blog on being a "Closeted Latina." I talk about what it's like being from a multicultural family. I think you'll get a kick out of it.
Hi Mitali--my library has your second book (White House Rules) but not its prequel (Extreme American Makeover). Is it necessary to read the first book before the second, or would I be able to figure things out ok?
