Mitch Chakour has been playing music professionally since he was 15 ( and that's a long time!) He has played with BONNIE RAITT, CHUCK BERRY, HOWLIN WOLF, HUBERT SUMLIN, MATT "GUITAR MURPHY, PINETOP PERKINS, HOUND DOG TAYLOR, KOKO TAYLOR, KATE TAYLOR, JAMES TAYLOR, JAMES MONTGOMERY, (Elizabeth Taylor and Elizabeth Montgomery would fit nicely here don't you think?)
Mitch spent 6 years as pianist and Musical director for JOE COCKER. Playing on "Wood Stock In Europe" 1979.. "A Luxury You Can Afford" and many World tours.
Recently Mitch has played with DAPHNE RUBIN-VEGA from "Rent", Recorded "Hope" a CD for an event that he performed at with the DALIA LAMA in benefit for The Tibetan Exile.
Mitch currently performs with the Mohegan Sun Allstars including, DAVID FOSTER, CLIFF GOODWIN, CHRISTINE OHLMAN, MARTY RICHARDS, WOLF GIANADES, KURT RAMM, DONNY HARRIS, JIMMY BIGGINS, MIKE FINNEGAN, LARRY HOPPEN, LEON PENDARVIS, DREIC DYER, BARON RAYMOND, BOB LINEBACH, JOHN TROPEA, MACEO PARKER, BILLY HOLLIMAN, DANNY DRAHER, ALECIA CHAKOUR.
Mitch continues to make and record music with Andrea, Alecia, Alex and Vanessa.
