That's the basic collection of Mitchell & Mocca - All time classic, all time great.
You always have "The Freddy" logo on every good, the original and since 1920 authentic logo.

California, 1917 -
At the beginning of World War I the United States imposed a ban on alcohol. During the prohibition, Mitchell, owner
of a schnapps distillery, and Mocca, a smuggler, saw their chance to make easy money.
Alcohol was both rare and coveted, which made it a lucrative business.

In 1918 Mitchell and Mocca got together and started smuggling the illegally distilled alcohol professionally.
At first only within state borders, but as other states were affected by the alcohol ban, they soon expanded their
business beyond the Mexican border. Through their efficient and inconspicuous way of running their
business they became known as the “California Hyenas”.

Trade flourished and Mocca constantly changed his appearance to deceive the police. Since smuggling liqueur
in boxes was a risky practice after the 18th Amendment went into effect in 1920, Mitchell and Mocca
established their own tailoring business.
Fabric was as desired as the forbidden alcohol and they quickly acquired a small fortune smuggling the
liquor in boxes disguised under the shirts and pants across the borders on a large scale.

1932 -
They were arrested in 1932, a year before the repeal of the prohibition, when thousands of bottles of alcohol were discovered and confiscated during a raid on their factory.
The state of California heavily fined the pair for fraud and smuggling.
They each received long term prison sentences.

After being released in 1938, Mocca struggled to make a living as a tailor in another factory.
They resumed business when Mitchell was released 6 months later by making their clothes available to everyone they had passed in their journeys:

the story of the smugglers, the story of the “California Hyenas”.
