I sing in a rock'n'roll band called Deacon Birch. We have released a split 7" with our buddies Emerald Eye (RIP) which you can get through Midmarch Records, i'd definately recommend buying a copy, if just for fun. We're currently writing a record which will be released sometime in 2008. I imagine it'll sound suspiciously like Botch and the lyrical content will probably veer towards the apocalyptic.

I used to play guitar in a band called Pushmeunder. We played a hardcore/post-rock hybrid kinda like Envy or City Of Caterpillar at a time when it wasn't so commonplace for bands to splice genres like that together. We were a shambolic mess and self-destructed just as things were finally going our way. Kerrang! Magazine said our EP "delivers autumnal fragility par excellence. KKKK" whilst Metal Hammer hailed us as "one of the few Brit bands who could possibly scare the shit out of us in a Mastodon/Locust style"
