About me: Opened on the first day of spring, Chef David Mitchell thought an old school deli this side of the river made sense. Mitchell Delicatessen, a full service joint in the heart of Inglewood, specializes in all natural meats and cheese which features handmade sandwiches and fresh soups. This small neighborhood shop offers a hot bar featuring a rotating list of delicious entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner(not to mention East Nashville's only salad bar). When the weather breaks, we will have locally grown organic and conventional produce courtesy of our friends in Wilson County. We will offer a large selection of cheese from around the globe as well as all the jams, jellies, nuts and olives to make your day. Chef Julia Helton is taking on catering duties offering a full catering program from deli treys, box lunches and business meetings to cocktail parties and fancy-pants sit down dinners.
Just discovered your place, and I hope your happy! I'll probably be bankrupt cause I want to eat your delicious food every single day! I love love love your salad bar, and the chicken quesidia (sp?) is to die for.... And that Turkey and Avocado sandwich you have is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth!
