Bio
'Persian born and raised in Northern Ireland, Mitra Djalilis life experience and artistic sensibility stretches the confines of contemporary popular music, successfully defying cultural and idiomatic boundaries. Mitra fills her songs with real life, sings them like she means them and arrives in this EP determined to make an impact. Appealing to young and old alike, Mitras music blends adult sophistication with youthful exuberance addressing the universal themes of life and love. This is a woman whose music builds from jazz and RnB roots to a world music influenced emotional intensity that, coupled with a polished commercially appealing production aesthetic, makes for a truly unique listening experience.'
It’s an honor to meet you, & to have your support,
Digital Current - was created with the mindset to break out of musical norms. To create something fresh with classical elements and sweeping, pulsing electronic thump. It's a unique blend of drum and bass, IDM, breaks, virtual orchestra, techno, ambient, reggae, chill, & rock.
