Janna Eriksson, dynamic diva of the Swedish alternative theatre circuit, meets Dragan Popovic, rock legend from the Belgrade underground scene of the seventies.
After having collaborated in various stage performances for over 15 years they are now unleashing their musical force to the world. With their minimalistic setting of two vocals and one accoustic guitar they create a raw, brutal avantgard rock music, straight from the heart.
Their first concert was given at the legendary festival Festival au désert close to Timbuctou in Mali 2006.
They have their base in the south of Sweden where they run a theatre company –
Teater Kapija together with the director Mladen Puric who recently joined the band as the bass player.
The company is located in an old school building. Here they perform their own music, theatre shows and also arrange various guest performances.

Jo, vi har lite för mycket för oss bara... Men det blir en hel del spelande i olika konstellationer, inte så mycket med Mashbrick dock. Fast vi har en spelning inbokad i Brekille i maj och håller på med en inspelning med. På fredag spelar 2/3 av oss i Malmö med Madman..s moustache. Blir kul! Har ni mycket på gång? /Christofer
Fina nya låtar och vad duktiga ni är på att sjunga. Isabelle låter som en tung blues och ibland när du går upp låter din röst som Heather Nova, tycker jag. I den andra låten slås jag framförallt av att rösterna är så mäktiga och kraftfulla. Vi ses och hörs, om inte i verkligheten så på mysplejs. /Christofer
