About me:
I was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 12, 1947. After graduating from Cranbrook School, I went to Stanford University. My sophomore year, I transferred to Brigham Young University to pursue my high school sweetheart, Ann … whom I married nearly 38 years ago and with whom I’ve had five boys – Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben and Craig, who in turn married five wonderful women – Jen, Laurie, Jen, Andelyne and Mary – and we now have eleven beautiful grandchildren. After graduating with highest honors from BYU in 1971, I wanted to go to business school, but my dad wanted me to go to law school. We ended up reaching a compromise: I did both … by enrolling in a joint program between Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. I graduated cum laude from law school and in the top 5% of my business school class, and then joined the Boston Consulting Group. In 1978, I moved to Bain and Company, a Boston-based management consulting firm. And, in 1984, I founded Bain Capital, a venture capital firm that has launched hundreds of companies on a successful course, including Staples, Domino's Pizza, and The Sports Authority. Later, when the 2002 Winter Olympics was facing a financial crisis, I was asked to help turn the Games around in Salt Lake City. From 2003 to 2007, I had the privilege of serving as the Governor of Massachusetts, where I balanced the budget every year of my administration; strengthened the education system so that young people could compete for good paying jobs in the global economy; and enacted a private, market-based health care reform which ensured that every Massachusetts citizen will have insurance. I enjoyed the experience of running for president in 2008, even though we came up short, and am now active as the honorary chairman of the Free and Strong America PAC, which is dedicated to advancing social, fiscal and foreign policies that will strengthen America at this critical time in our nation’s history.Who I'd like to meet:

10 of 5852MorePretty shady business going on today. Hopefully we can pull it out even with the other candidates trying to get votes in a very shady way! Just proves that you are the right place to hang my vote!
Go get em Mitt!!
DEAR MITT: I am insulted at the intelligence level that the United States is currently residing at. to think that you, seperate from many other politicians, are not using dirty campaigning tricks. I think McCain should not win. However, is it best to choose you because of this? Where in the world is Ron Paul when you need him?! (joke) reply if you even upkeep your myspace.
i hope u win today for super tuesday.. <33 id definatly vote for u if i was old enough =] best of luck
Mitt,
Thanks for the add! I'm so glad that you are running for president and i will keep you in my prayers during this election time. I hope that you will because you will make an awesome president!
MITT ADD ME TO YOUR TOP 8!!!!!! IM CAMPAIGHNING FOR YOU IN ARIZONA!!!!!!!!!!!ILOVEYOU!!!
My vote is for you!! I hope you win Maryland.
I am embarrassed to be a resident of West Virginia. I'm sorry about what happened to you here, and wish you better luck in the other states. Too bad we have a closed convention because I really wanted to vote for you. This country is in an economic crisis, and we could really use somebody who has been a modern-day Midas.
Hey Mitt, you got my vote. I think you should run under the conservative ticket. That other "Republican" should change his status to Democrat in hiding. You are the real thing Mitt. allan
Mitt,
I guess todays result in WV just goes to shows that EVERY vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. And it has been that way the entire race!
