Mixx a Young Jamaican rapper was introduced to the industry as a member of a Jamaican group “Two terble cru” in the Washington metropolitan area. Mixx established himself into a strong solo artist who’s well known for his outstanding ability to compose hip-hop and reggae music with a unique flow. Born on August 13, in the late 80's in Clarendon Jamaica, Mixx grew up in the Bell plain neighborhood of Clarendon. He was brought up on the tough streets of Clarendon, Jamaica where he learned to survive and overcome many obstacles at a young age. Mixx was raised solely by his mother who taught him the meaning of hard work and determination by working 2 to 3 jobs just to get by. Due to his mother’s impact, Mixx uses his music like a note book of his soul that allows you to know where he has been and where he is headed. Hits after hits Mixx has stunned fans, muted the cynical words of others and continues to show off his talent in his music that express his life in every aspect. The hit “Do it ova here” (2007) sparked positive conversation in his community. The (2008) hit “Jamroc” has proven making hit record’s isn’t luck. If anything else Mixx is known greatly for his club banging, catchy chorus, and heavy punch lines that leaves an impact to all listeners. Now in the year 2008 as Mixx’s steady flow of success continues to invade the airwaves there is no doubt that he will excel in all that he ventures into; Record label, clothing line, movies etc.. After achieving his first goal of attaining his associate’s degree, Mixx focused on his debut album “Lyfe is a gamble”. He has participated in local shows along with collaborations with local artists. Determined to do things on his own Mixx has built his own personal studio that has allowed him to adapt to the new technology to learn techniques, equipment, and instrumentals for making beats. In the very near future Mixx, who is a son, a brother, inspiration, and friend’s to many will be known by all as a trend setting, goal reaching, hit making phenomenon, and most importantly a business man, who will be ranked as one of the greatest rappers of all time. .. ..
