Work of Sub-Art in the Age of Artificial ReproductionThe mind creates, the chaos permeates. In the material reality, art objects are reproductions of the imaginations of the mind -- a mind that uses the chaos as an organism to deconstruct ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the evolution of the electronic environment, the mind is approaching a point where it will be free from the chaos to transcend immersions into the contortions of the delphic reality. Electrosaurus contains 11 minimal shockwave engines (also refered to as "soundtoys") that enable the user to make loud audio/visual compositions.

Some nice things people have said about Electrosaurus:
“60s West Coast psychedelic freak out rock n roll... gorgeous... beguiling simplicity... a blend of soothing charm and challenging experimentation”
NetRhythms
“1960s revivalist revivalists Miyagi retain their own identity and make their current album an unexpectedly refreshing take on an era that has been exhaustively – but rarely so carefully – reworked”
Sunday Times
“There is something here that keeps pulling you back to play the album again. It may take a few listens, but it’s an album that’s definitely worth spending time with, and getting to know. Believe me, you’ll want to.”
Is This Music ****
"Be Cool, Stay Cool with the profound lyric I’ll live my life by: “You can’t grow a pear on an apple tree.” Little Pink Dress is surely a missing Beatles track. The plucked bass, the echoey pinched guitar... in four minutes, Miyagi show Oasis how to do it. It doesn’t stop there. Enjoy the surf/country romp of Then I Get That Feeling and the gnarly Nick Cave as a cowboy of Tomorrow. Miyagi are no dinosaurs – they are the future."
Daily Record
“By the end of the first side we’ve worked our way through homages to The Beatles, The Fifth Dimension and The Zombies. Flip it over and we’re into CSN and surf guitars. Like the late-lamented Cosmic Rough Riders, though, the influences are so lovingly assimilated that it never descends into mere pastiche
” Uncut
“Christening your second album Electrosaurus and adorning the cover with axe-wielding thunder-lizards and a drumming diplodocus is undoubtedly awesome...... gorgeous harmonies...... the ingredients beautifully sourced and combined
” The Skinny
“Laid-back, harmony-rich, California folk-pop. Fans of the Byrds or fans of bands that are fans of the Byrds will surely enjoy”
