Glad yours was okay...I would have to agree that mine was okay as well. Happy new Year however, hope it's going to be a good year!!! I am sorry to hear about the cellar problem as well as your crazy work schedule for the holidays, that didn't sound like fun at all! We got a little surprise on New Years Eve, Cassie just decided to come and visit, she got here around 12:30 so we celebrated the New Year Chicago time for her, lol!! She is staying until Sunday and we have been enjoying her company bunches! Well I'll be in touch with you again soon.

Well I am very sorry to hear about your loss. It's not a problem at all there wasn't a rush on it at all I just wasn't able to take any pics and would like to have the ones that Aunt Beth and you were able to get. If snail mail is easier for you that's fine with me just didn't want you to have the expense that's why I said email, but your call. I just appreciate the fact that you guys were able to take some pics!! I'll pass the hi onto Guy he's not home from work yet but I'm sure he would say hi back.

Much cooler here today...we dropped drastically last night I guess and the sun hasn't made much of an appearance all day.


Thanks for the compliment, I like to think of myself that way as well and I'm sure Cassie does too. We seem to discover how much we have in common ever time we get together.
Unfortunately, she had a 146 min delay last night and was just stuck in the airplane, bummer!

Thanks for the thoughts too, this year was easier than last but still tough at times.


As for Grandma, I just wrote her a letter and finally sent her Christmas gifts. We are trying to get all of us out there but since one of my gifts was a calendar I thought I better send it. She did seem different in her letter but almost more chipper which made me think she is feeling a bit low. I try to write her as often as possible cause it gives her something to do and she's always been old fashioned so I think she enjoys it as well. If I could I would make a trip over since I'm so close but unfortunately the two of us don't have a lot in common or to talk about. But if she ever needed someone I would be there. I know Aimee and Kim call her, not sure how often but they check in too.


Tell Aunt Beth I said HI and send my love...you can spread that to your kids too but I can also send them messages, lol!! Nice to hear from you and love you lots!
