Did you know you can take classes at MJC while you are still in high school - for FREE? Modesto Junior College waives the standard $20 per unit fee for all high school students. You simply complete an MJC Application for Admission and an Advanced Petition for Admissions along with a Fee Waiver and Health form. It’s that simple. You can attend MJC and pay nothing in tuition (health fee and student fees do apply). If that sounds like something you'd like to do, talk to your high school counselor to see if you would be eligible. *For students who do not qualify for a Board of Governors Fee Waiver, the college will waive the enrollment fee for up to 11 units. Students are responsible to pay all other related fees, including out-of-state tuition, if applicable. Students who wish to enroll in more than 11 units and are approved by their Board of Trustees and by the MJC President will be responsible for their own enrollment fees.
If you have questions about college or if you're not sure where to start or what to do next, give me a call or visit our website at www.mjc.edu. Even if you don't attend one of the high schools listed above, or if you are an adult looking to re-start your life, I would be happy to help! You can reach me at (209)575-6471. And if I don't answer, be sure to leave a message clearly stating your name and telephone number. BEEP! :-)
