About me: "“Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.”. Haile Selassie
I hope all is well with you and yours. It looks from the picture as if you rather have your hands full lol. Enjoy every moment of it. They grow up before you know it. Forgive the corn of the remark but it is true.
I know you are a major brain box so I wondered what you thought of my new blog. It is only a tiny weenie poem and I know those are hard to comment about but it is about people who 'look beyond' as I know you do. Anyway, hope you like it.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving! I think we all have a lot to be thankful for, especially friends!
I'm heading to the coast to spend Turkey day with the folks. I'm bringing Kiki, the wonder bird, with me! We'll see how a Macaw and their cats get along. Oh boy....

I've recently thought of this, and haven't before encountered the question...
Of what use is it to pray? Seriously. As far as I can tell, all or at least most religious observers believe that each of us is born with a "destiny." We are all born into a fixed schedule that God has planned out ahead of time. Our successes and abilities are at God's whims (for example, a baseball player thanks God for "blessing" him with bat speed and accuracy), there is a set time of death for each of us, etc. And if this is the case, why pray at all? For example, why pray for the recovery of a loved one on their deathbed, if their time of death is fixed and unshakable in the first place? Does God sometimes change Her mind along the way, or what's the deal here?
I know right?…Some things I treasure. And through this comment you can tell. But for some of you; we never met. Only here through Myspace. And from what you could tell... Answer something for me? Lastly a question in general. For those that make me wonder. Wonder if it's real, fake or phony. Either way. I'm real. I'll post it anyway. However, I still hold that letter from when you asked me: Didn't want to ask you the same way as the rest. You can leave your thoughts within the comment post. I won't cry about it.
Hi! I've just about gotten my album finished. I think it's going to be better than the first one! I haven't been playing out much thanks to the studio, but I have some shows and stuff coming up. Also new shirts! What have you been doing?
Hey thanksgiving, take this! A song written by my old group Bluntsworth four or five years ago.
"Gravy On My Tateys" Crappy sound quality back then, ouch! The songwriting is still there though I think. What do you think, is it a new classic holiday song?
Painfully again (painful only because I'm jealous of the crowds that your writings draw), thanks so much for your blogging. Not only have I benefited from the insightfulness of your writings, stand alone; the ensuing debates and conversations via comments are top-notch. I think the best way to develop and evolve an opinion is by speaking with those with whom you disagree, and your blogs provide all kinds of opportunities for exactly that.
It's probably just their crap computers.
Anyways, this is kind of late, but sorry about your folks refusing to wed you because of your atheism. If I was a pastor, I would wed people whether they were Atheist or Christian. Homosexual would probably be another matter, cuz it's illegal right now; but I don't see the harm on wedding Atheists as long as they're civil, etc. I think it would be difficult to wed the more millitant type, unless they left it at the door.
