My first novel was Lip Service which broke some ground. Since then I've written In Fidelity, Flesh Tones, Sheet Music, The Halo Effect & The Delilah Complex.
I'm the author of nine novels.
Lip Service, In Fidelity, Flesh Tones & Sheet Music. Then three in my dark series about a NYC sex therapist: The Halo Effect (2004), The Delilah Complex (Jan 2005), The Venus Fix (July 2006) and Lying in Bed (June 2006; this isn't suspense but it is erotic).
My 9th, The Reincarnationist, another suspense novelwill be out August 28th, 2007.And it has its own website. Where you can post stories from your own reincarnation diaries.
My short fiction has appeared in Pages Magazine, The Vestal Review and several anthologies including Best American Erotica and THRILLER Stories to keep you up all night.
Getting published has been an adventure for me since I self-published Lip Service late in 1998 after several traditional publishers turned it down. Editors had loved it, but didn't know how to position it or market it since it didn't fit into any one genre.
After selling over 2500 copies (in both electronic and trade paper format), Lip Service became the first e-book and the first self-published novel chosen by the LiteraryGuild/Doubleday Book Club as well as being the first e-book to go on to be published by a mainstream New York publishing house.
Since then I've been called the "poster girl" of e-publishing by Time magazine and have been profiled in Forbes, The New York Times, Business 2.0, Working Woman, Newsweek and New York Magazine.
I live in Connecticut with Doug Scofield, a composer, and our very spoiled dog, Winka.
