MK4U is always looking for young people who want to help run the festival. This festival is not just for young people...it's made and run BY young people. If you want to help organise the festival we want to hear from you. So send us a message and help make the festival even better!
MK4U is a large 2 day youth festival held each year in Campbell Park in Milton Keynes.
It is organised and run by young people from Milton Keynes supported my a number of organisations including The Parks Trust, Mk Gallery, Stantonbury Campus, and MK Play Association.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who is interested in music, art, enjnoying themselves, being involved in organising a festival, performing at a festival, volunteering to help at a festival, etc......
MK4U is about providing opportunities for young people to showcase what they do and help promote them. Therefore we know some of you have merchandise to sell so we would like to help you sell it!
We would like to know who would be interested in selling their band merchandise at MK4U festival.
We were thinking of having one or two tables for all bands. You will need a mate to stand there to take the money and look after all your merchandise. Other than that you can get selling!!
Please let us know asap so we can get a stall set up for you for free!

Yo, just gonna say what a great weekend of music that was! There's so much musical talent in MK! The quality and sheer energy of the performances were second to none. I think the effort put in by the bands playing was higher than most of the bands at Glastonbury! I was blown away by some acts. Stand out bands for me were.... Desperate cycle Device Modus Vivendi Terrapin Trainstation and a real treat in the small tent were Stanislav, absolutely mindblowin performance! why weren't they on the main stage?! bring on next year!
A tripod in a greyish/brownish case went missing from the Create Zone at MK4U sometime after 2pm on Saturday.
Last seen on the floor in the middle of our main marquee.
Have you picked this up by mistake? Easily done. Or maybe you know where it is? If so, please can you return it to Milton Keynes Gallery asap or alternatively drop us a message on here so we can arrange to collect it from somewhere more convenient.
Come to the Create Zone at MK4U and swap your clothes for new ones (to you anyway). You can even swap what you are wearing on the day if something else takes your fancy...
One man's trash is another man's treasure and all that......
We would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to the local Army Cadets for helping us out with the Create Zone marquee today and also to all our friends and relatives who so kindly offered their support (literally)! We could not have done it without you xxx
