You're Catch-22!
by Joseph Heller
Incredibly witty and funny, you have a taste for irony in all that you see. It seems that life has put you in perpetually untenable situations, and your sense of humor is all that gets you through them. These experiences have also made you an ardent pacifist, though you present your message with tongue sewn into cheek. You could coin a phrase that replaces the word "paradox" for millions of people.
Take the Book Quiz at the Blue Pyramid.

You are The Lovers

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse.

The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.

Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

    HISTORIA DE UN LETRERO (THE STORY OF A SIGN)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    My mom and dad. They didn't have much (in the way of money), but they always, always gave to others - and they had an incredible marriage. They taught me that age is just a number, that the color of a person's skin has only to do with the amount of melanin in their body, that the place you were born is just geography, that people should worship - or not - in whatever way is comfortable for them (and no one way is "better" than another), that you are not what you do for a living or how much you earn, and that what matters is not your age, your skin color, your nationality, your religion, your job, or your income - but what's in your heart. Are you a good person? Are you kind? Are you non-judgmental? Do you give to others? Do you laugh often and focus on the joy in life? Do you love fully and without reservation or conditions? Although my dad only lived in Hawai'i for a few years (before he met my mom), both my parents truly lived the spirit of aloha. I try my best to live by their example, and although they're both gone now, I hope that I'm making them proud...
    My son. He's funny, sarcastic, incredibly bright (too smart for his own good? ha!), opinionated (understatement), and would do just about anything for his friends! ...
    Bhante Wimala. A Buddhist monk originally from Sri Lanka, I've never met anyone with so much love, energy, and who does so much for so many people all over the world. He just radiates peace - it makes you feel good just to be in his presence. He's an amazing person - check him out at www.bhantewimala.com ... I'm honored to call him my kumu (teacher) and friend. ...
    Herb Ohta, Jr. I’ve been around music and musicians most of my life, and the word “humble” doesn’t always jump to the top of the list of words I’d use to describe a few of them. But if you look up “humble” in the dictionary, Herb’s picture will probably be there. A master of the 'ukulele, he consistently gives of himself not only to his family, friends, and fans, but to other musicians - always stepping out of the spotlight to allow it to shine on others. His generous, loving nature permeates everything he does – and in addition to being an incredible musician, he is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I've ever known. (And he has a WICKED sense of humor!) I am incredibly blessed to have him for a friend.
    "Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
    Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals,featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
    Promotional Video(My Girl From The South Sea Isles)
    "The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
    Hey there,
    Here's one from left field...
    Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
    A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
    Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
    Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
    Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
    I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
    Help to raise awareness.
    Say have you checked out my web site recently?
    Take care and keep in touch.
    Best,
    Faber.
