    I'm Ryan, and I'm 26 years old. Music has always been a huge part of who I am and what I spend my time doing. Music keeps me young at heart. Some of the best times I've ever had happened at live shows.  Seeing a band live is such an awesome experience that I feel like a lot of people miss out on or don't really "get."  I've personally worked at about 300+ local concerts in the past 5 years as the Show Manager & door person.  I still go to live shows at least 3-4 times per month. There was one week I attended 6 concerts in 7 days all at the Hawthorne lol.. that was an intense week. I've personally booked maybe 2,000+ local shows nationwide in the past few years, and I've spent most of my waking hours trying to help give bands a good time and help our company grow and improve. .... It's encouraging to see the progress we've made, and I've been blessed to have the opportunity to help so many people.  We've definitely made mistakes along the way, but we've learned from them quickly and improved from our artist feedback.  I'm always open for feedback and ways to improve, and my artists know that I always will do what I can to meet their needs.  I am lucky to be apart of something that can make such a positive impact on local musicians.  We've helped all ages clubs avoid going out of business, and we've helped struggling clubs become successful.  Our loyalty, consistency, and stability we help provide to our venues' monthly budgeting, not only helps the bands we book - but the music communities as a whole.  Without all ages venues, there would be no music community; there would be no local music scene.  Our dedication to our venues is just as important to us as the artists we book.  I believe we do local concerts better than anyone on a nationwide scale, and I will always work to ensure everyone here works with integrity and honesty. .... .... ...... .... .... *add Afton on these sites :) ....http://www.FACEBOOK.com/aftonshows.. ....http://www.TWITTER.com/aftonshows.. ....http://www.YOUTUBE.com/aftonshows.. ....http://www.MYSPACE.com/aftonshows..

  • Sounds Like

    Anything having to do with music interests me. I've been playing guitar and writing songs since I was 15. I still write and record with my home recording setup consisting of GarageBand, my Line 6 Pod-xt, and my beloved guitars. It's nothing fancy, but it sounds decent enough. I played in a band and played a lot of live shows for quite awhile. I have a golden doodle (MAIDA) that I named after one of my favorite singers. I hated dogs before I actually got one.. lol now I'm a big dog person. Who would have thought... .... What I do... Listen to Music. Play Music. Make Music. Attend Shows. Book Shows. Work at Shows... REPEAT again and again. I love music..
