Bio
«Monkey Knife Fight» was formed in spring of 2007 by former members of several Moscow music bands and we still do not have any history that will be bandied about. Maybe because our only interest in band making was playing music for our own pleasure, but not publicity, maybe because we are very passionate about what we are doing instead of being anxious about how it will be accepted by anyone. Lots of «maybes». We even didn’t have any band name for about a year, though we did songs that we really liked. We already have had some clashes inside of our small collective. That’s why the new line up of «Monkey Knife Fight» was established in spring of 2008. Since then there will be no turning back to the past and the history is launching now. Now we've recorded and released our first EP (summer of 2009), so forget everything that I have told you before, because we, as every person who dares to show music to the people, are hunting for your love and hate. So be prepared to love and to hate us. -

10 of 88MoreHappy birthday, guys!:***
Glass Rifle are performing live at Party XPO tomorrow (Feb 19). 929 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY. Come down... there's gonna be a water gun ice rink, a nerf gun shooting range and first person shooter video game projections! Plus other great acts...
The band are supporting their debut single:
"Impossible to ignore." - Consequence Of Sound"
Glass Rifle are a sonic battering of dischordant power pop, with killer guitar licks offsetting fierce beats that literally pummel you into submission" - Lost At E Minor"
It's tight, incredibly crafted and stands alongside any classic American underground sound…" - 7Inches
