The Arts. Traveling. Keeping the man out of other people's artistic vision. Trying to figure out where I stand with certain people. Other stuff.

Oh, and you know that movie The Descent? I like that one, too.
Television
The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, 24, Home Movies, Monk, The Office (U.K. version), Garth Marenghi's DarkPlace, Man to Man with Dean Learner, I'm Alan Partridge, Boss Swap, and, yes, Blind Date.
Books
James Ellroy, Louis L'Amour, Richard Russo, Donald Westlake's "Parker" books, John Sayles' novels (before he started doing movies), Tom Robbins. I recently read an amazingly trashy book called "The Oscar" that I just loved. I finally finished "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues" and I thank the person who so heartily recommended it to me. Can anyone recommend some more good books?
Heroes
They've always been cowboys, but not cowboys who killed Indians. Those guys are assholes and I don't like them at all. However, I'm also told that you shouldn't let your babies grow up to be them. I don't have any kids, but when I do I'll tell them to admire cowboys, but not be like them.
About me: Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of being a king... and then became one? Well, except for the names and few other changes when you talk about me, the story's the same one.
Who I'd like to meet: Rosalie Trombley. Doctors and DJs. Movie and music people. Teachers and magazine editors. Writers and readers. Anyone and everyone, including Powder:
