About me: MKMR stands for mid-Kansas model railroaders. We are located in McPherson, Kansas. This club has been together since June of 2006 and running better than ever. In conjunction with the McPherson Museum, we have established a good reputation. There currently is an ho scale layout and an n scale layout. In storage we have the Belli Bros. layout from downtown. On display is local railroad artifacts and paraphernalia from throughout the 20th century. Our goal is to establish a reputable model railway. To educate and entertain the public about real railroads in and around the McPherson area. Being in part of the museum, we will provide as much history and knowledge as possible about said railroads. mission statement: The Mid Kansas Model Railroaders were formed in July, 2006 for the expressed purposes of the following: *To be the restorers and caretakers of the McPherson City Museum and Belli Bros. layouts. *To promote the hobby of model railroading. *To educate the public about model railroading and the McPherson railroads.
