Music
I have eclectic music taste. I like everything from classic rock to pop to new age to the blues. About the only thing I don't listen to is rap. And I'm not a huge country music fan, though there are certain artists/groups I do like.
Movies
The Harry Potter movies, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Matrix (the first one--I didn't love the other two), the Terminator movies, Underworld & Underworld Evolution, anything with Jason Statham, anything with Gerard Butler, Practical Magic, Spiderman 2, Moulin Rouge, Notting Hill, the Bourne Trilogy, and a ton more. I'm a movie junkie and like too many to list them all.
Television
I don't watch a ton of real-time TV, but I love getting TV series on DVD or iTunes. It's addictive! My fave series are Buffy, Angel, Supernatural, Ugly Betty, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the new Battlestar Gallactica, the new BBC Doctor Who and Torchwood, and did I mention Supernatural? :)

Hi! I'm M.L. Rhodes and I predominantly write gay male erotic romance. I've written some straight erotic romance also, as well as books in other genres, but my focus now is almost entirely on gay romance because, quite frankly, I'm passionate about it! I love to write it and I love to read it.
I'm frequently asked why, as a woman, I'm interested in writing man-love stories. The answer is kind of twofold... First, I write it because I love men. I think men are incredibly intriguing, sexy, and complex in all the good ways. So put them together meeting, falling in love, kissing, touching, making wild erotic love, or slow tender love and I'm a puddle on the floor. I can't get enough of it.
The other reason writing gay romance appeals to me so much is because gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and the transgender community have, traditionally, had a tough road in our society. I strongly believe in love for all...gender, race, religion, nationality, economic status should never matter. When two people meet and fall in love, that's what's important. So I think (or at least I hope) that the more authors who write about GLBT relationships, the more it helps bring them into the mainstream where they deserve to be. I've never been one to cruise through life blindly following like a sheep just because that's what some in society expect. The people who know me well will tell you I have no qualms about standing up for what I believe in. And, damn it, I believe in love, Love, LOVE for all! :)
I think boys kissing boys is hot. I think girls kissing girls is hot. And I think boys and girls kissing each other is hot. So if you like ultra-steamy romance and you have an open mind, then my books might be right up your alley!
