  • General

    I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, arts and crafts, and playing music. Currently I am in the process of finishing my first children's book and hope to have it published soon.

  • Music

    Being a musician I have a great appreciation for the music industry and many different forms of music. As for listening enjoyment I listen mostly to anything from classic to current rock, country, and a little pop.

  • Movies

    I like all types of movies as long as they're good. Mostly I enjoy family, comedy, thrillers, horror and musicals.

  • Television

    While I don't get to watch much television there are a few shows that I do enjoy. For primetime tv I enjoy Desperate Housewives, House, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, and Fringe. Other than that I enjoy watching different shows on the discovery channel and the history channel. Not that I get to watch a lot of television with having two kids

  • Books

    When it comes to books I would have to say that I love reading fantasy, however it is hard for me to find an author whose writings can capture my imagination and lure me into their world. A list of my favorite authors includes Terry Brooks, Gregory Maguire, Katherine Kerr, and J.K. Rowling.

  • Heroes

    I can't say that I really have any particular heroes. There have of course been people in all aspects of my life that have influenced me one way or another but no one really stands out as a personal hero. I would have to say that when I think of the word hero I think of all of those people that go out into the world every day and risk their lives in order to make ours a little better. The type of people that would fall into my category of heroes would have to be of course, policemen, firefighters, and military soldiers but the more commonly overlooked persons would have to be people who dedicate their lives to helping others whether it be people, animals, or nature. So to those people working in doctors offices, hospitals, volunteers, vets, and anyone else helping to save another life...you are truly a hero.

About me:

I am a stay-at-home mother of three. My husband and I have been together since 2003 and were married in 2006. In 2005 we relocated to Texas because of Hurricane Katrina. Like most families out there we take things one day at a time and could always use a helping hand, however we make due with what we have and as a family and are happy. As for me personally I love to read and write, doing crafts with the kids, singing, and playing music. The only problem is finding the time to do these things. Upon meeting people for the first time I tend to be very reserved and often come off as quiet but once you get to know me you'll realize that I am actually completely opposite of that. I have a strong tendancy to speak my mind, I do not hold secrets, and have a knack for telling things as I perceive them. If you're the type of person who gets their feelings hurt easily or does not handle the truth well, I am probably not the right friend for you. Other than that, my children and family always come first; I am often stressed out and not extremely social and I don't mind small get togethers but don't like large crowds. The ideal situation for me is getting together with friends either at my home or theirs, letting the kids play, throwing some food on the grill and just hanging out.

    we make 2 years today,

    my hair was in a pony tail lol. its about shoulder length. I have gained around my stomach in hips i think its just the way my hair is that makes me look that thing. I had to look up what a pixie haircut is and your crazy. the burger thing well that is why i have gained weight around my stomach...eating 2 many of them between school n work!!! How have yall been doing?

    The best part about this trip is...I'm going alone. Five months ago I asked Luke if he wanted to come and he said that it's okay I go alone. :) I'm going to visit my best friend and surprise her mom for her birthday.

    I agree with you mostly on the abortion, but if I found out I was pregnant I would damn straight abort it because I dont want kids, but I've ALWAYS taken precautions to avoid that (& by that I mean real precautions like condoms & what not, not just hoping it doesnt happen like some twits).
