This is the next release by PERCENT RECS. It was given to the very young producers from Italy - Aumrec.
The duo's distinctive mark in this release is their eccentric sound.
They create their sound under the influence of the artists Umek, Sven Väth, Jeff Mills... and will skillfully present it to the audience in the future.
It would be difficult to determine the exact category of these artists' music.
Deep, experimental, acid-minimal and techno are just a very small part of Aumrec's sounding in this release.
They boldly introduce to us their vision of contemporary electronic dance music. Aumrec's sounding is partly modern and brave but they've put a light, interesting flavour of the good, old Detroit techno.

Soundclips from forthcoming Wicked Messenger CD "Vision Rites And Techniques Of Ecstasy" have been added to the player on the Plague website. This epic record (Plague's and WM's most ambitious project sofar) is thematically centered around ancient Mesoamerican cult and culture. All tracks refer to certain spiritual and cultic practices, in particular the vision quest.

RIVO was born in The Hague, The Netherlands, May 1983. As his musical interests were growing, he listened to house music during the mid 90s. After a while he decides to get seriously involved in making music and his success starts growing. Besides he start buying records and spin them on cheap gear.
At an the initial stage he spread his work trough the internet. Involved listeners, from e.g. Berlin, discovered Rivo’s work. He quickly received good responses and other people, particularly from east and south Europe, followed. Nowadays his procutions are supported by e.g. Benny Rodrigues, Peel Seamus and Dave Ellesmere in labels such as INSTABIL (digital brother of Statik Entertainment), ORNITHOPTER, SCHALL... Releases on 12" are close.
Right now, his dj-sets always showcases a ambient techno-oriented set organised with classics and fresh work. Each set is legendary BASIC CHANNEL inspired varying with current underground dub- and deep-techno records. This unique combination unite to a successful and creative output which is much valued nowadays. Most recognizable is the way he builds up in his sets.
