"Sanctuary Recording Studios...... 45min North West of Detroit Rocording Rock & Roll the way it's supposed to sound.......... On 2" Tape!!!! Through a vintage console....look us up at sanctuaryrecordingstudios.com"
For high quality recordings check this out. I recorded digitally for a long time and was never really happy with the recordings expecially rock. Then a few years ago a friend turned me onto 2" tape through a high quality vintage console and WOW was I hooked. So over time I found an Ampex MM1200 2" 16 track multitrack from Warner Brothers restored that and found an Amek M2500 36 channel 24 Buss console. As a matter of fact It was the same console U2 used to record some tracks for Joshua Tree at Edge's house.
If you prefer we can still record digital thru RADAR or we could do both because I have the MM1200 syced to RADAR so you can record some tracks digital and some analog. Needless to say it sounds great. After mix down I use a MCI 1/2" 2 track for masters then from there we go digital.
With this set up you will never want to use PT again. If sound is important to you then you have to check out my studio. Hit me up!!!
