UPCOMING EVENTS: The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will be launching a new website within a month’s time to support their Manhattan 24/7 campaign. They’re looking for 1 track from as many local musicians as possible to showcase the diverse music scene in Manhattan. Pick your best track, post it on myspace or your website, and email a link to andrew@orange151.com. (If you don’t have either myspace or a site, you may email the song to Andrew, but the previous method is highly recommended.) Su.bmission of the music is an acknowledgement that the Manhattan Chamber may use the piece on their website in perpetuity.
Songs will be accepted onto the site based on quality, and efforts will be made to showcase as many genres of music as possible. Deadline for submission is October 23, 2009, at 5pm.

PJ's Pub needs your help to keep the doors open & the music alive. Without your help Sept. 16th will be the end! We need bands to do benefit shows, music lovers to party & dancers to shake their bootys! The landlord wants to bulldoze the building & put up apartments so they are trying to raise the rent 240% to force us out. We have a lawyer, but need $$$ to pay him so we can give it our all.
