| General | Video Games, Literature, Episcopalian, Blogging, Coffee, Math, Writing, Taking Things Apart, Swimming, Pawley's Island (my beach), My Family, Confusing People | | Music | My MP3 Collection is 80 gigs of Personality Disorder: I'll listen to Bizet's Carmen and then Sepultura, Linkin Park then George Harrison, Bad Religion then Charlie Parker.
I've played the violin for almost two decades so I have an appreciation of classical music, but I also enjoy punk, rock, blue, jazz, and many others. I don't think I enjoy rap for the music quality, more for the bass lines and the lyrics.
My all-time number one song is Elgar's Nimrod.

Martin, Kurt Vonnegut, Steven Brust | | Heroes | I thought for a long time that I didn't have any heroes - this is mostly because I'm violently independent. Now I realize that I can learn a lot from the people in my life - Mark Twain said "the older I get the smarter my father gets" and it's the truth.
I look up to my sister, my brother, my parents and my extended family because they're some of the most interesting people I know. I've learned more about life than I thought I could from them and a lot about good friends, good times, and good burbon. |

About me:
I am a computer engineer pretending to be an environmental engineer.
I get to go all around the country to the middle of no-where of every state and install DAS systems. Das systems hold emission data for power plants and other pollution emitting type places (one of our pieces of software says that there are THEME PARKS that have to report, but I keep ending up at coal plants.)
For more information about what I do, check out the regulations at the EPA website
I believe the United States should cap CO2 emissions and that we need to spay and neuter our pets. Support your local animal shelter!
I have one cat: named Shader
I play a little World of Warcraft
I can't spell.
It annoys me greatly that the "view my friends" is not in alphabetical order.
I love my Pointless Little Website
She's gots her own house, she's gots her own car.
If you ain't on, sit down.
