When Andrés Jiménez was growing up, his friends used to call him “Andy.” Eventually, one of his amigas said to him jokingly: “You are like Andy Candy.”
So, when the time came to choose a name for his label, what came to mind was Mancandy—the irresistible kind-of guy that every girl would desire!
Launching his label in 2007, this 26-year-old Mexican designer, who has been sowing since the age of ten, is already attracting the attention of the international press.
Lover of the arts and inspired by romanticism, music, and the pursuit of beauty, Andrés designs a casual line of menswear and womenswear for a target group of young people ranging from the ages of 17-30.
Exalting natural simplicity, Andrés believes that true happiness does not stem from looking chic but rather a man must be happy, first, in order to be chic!
