About me:

By day I am a recruiter in the Twin Cities specializing in information technology. I started on my own in 1998. Had a couple of partners soon after. Was a “lone ranger” for a couple of years. Then with a loose confederation of recruiters.

In July of 2006 I closed that company and started a new one called Nerd Search. No longer does anyone ask what I do for a living.

You can find more about my professional life to the left where you will find a link to my LinkedIn profile and a RSS feed of my blog MN Headhunter (www.mnheadhunter.com).

On the blog (more like a hybrid of corporate site and blog) you find a jobs page, information on Nerd Search, and a page for nonprofits to post their volunteer and employee needs in technology.

The blog has been nominated for a couple of nominations at Recruiting.com and also was featured in the August 2006 edition of Minnesota Business, “Web Master”.

I do some volunteer/mentoring work at the University of Minnesota and am a huge fan (in need of therapy) of the Gopher football team. I recently started a blog called Gopher The Roses (www.gopherfootballblog.com) and you find a link to that RSS feed on the left too.

The past few months I have been contacted by MySpace users who are in the technology field and wondering if there is a Twin Cities networking site for them on MySpace. I could not find one so I started Twin Cities Tech Professionals(http://groups.myspace.com/tctechprof).

As my profile says mostly work and a little play. The past few years have been dedicated to business pursuits and I am now looking forward to enjoying some more fun activities.

This spring and summer I am looking forward to getting back in the boat to do some fishing, getting on the bike and hitting the trails, and finding the nightlife spots others have been enjoying and telling me about.

Who I'd like to meet:

If you are a:
-Information Technology professional
-Entrepreneur
-Recruiter, search firm or in house
-University of Minnesota alum or student
-Blogger
-College football fan, Badgers are questionable
-A generally cool person

Then send me a message. ..

Ah...I was wondering if you could find me a single, hot, rich nerd? Preferably one that travels a lot(I like my alone time) and loves to spoil his woman. Oh yeah and in Phoenix.
Is that too tall of an order???
