Huzzah and Cheers for the Minnesota Renaissance Festival ! Their Royal Majesties, Queen Margaret and King Henry IV, request you to join them in their celebration of Renaissance Tradition in Minnesota. Be their guest and stroll along lanes filled with tiny merchant shops showcasing the best in custom wares. Savor the smoked richness of a turkey leg or combat your sweet tooth with a hand dipped chocolate strawberry or apple dumpling. Enjoy over 35 stages of live entertainment. Discover the Adventure that is the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival began its journey in September of 1971 on a 22 acre field in Jonathan , MN . More than 25,000 people visited the two weekend grand opening of the festival then named “A Celebration of Nature, Art, and Life!” That celebration has since relocated to Shakopee, MN and has grown to be the largest Renaissance Festival in the United States with more than 700 entertainers, 275 crafters, 120 food booths and an annual attendance of 275,000, all adding to the magic that draws in visitors from across the nation.

Scare to join us this October 2009 for some scary fun at the TRAIL OF TERROR in Shakopee, MN? Ride through the walking dead infested Hayride, cozy up to a warm Bonfire, get lost in the Halls of Horror, be terrorized in the haunted and heated maze and party late into the night in Club Scream and Terror Tavern!!! As many of you know, the TN Renaissance Festival chose not to renew my contract and I will not be returning to the festival. However, I refuse to let “The Man” get us down. Laughter is still the best medicine; and until they form a national healthcare plan that works, it’s all most of us have. To that end, I invite you to join me, your favorite Danger Comedian, for an evening of laughs on Saturday June 13th at the Boiler Room Theatre just outside of Nashville, TN. (This is not my Renaissance Festival show done in the woods wearing tights.) This is a full stage production which features lots of new material, costume changes, and even a musical finale. The show, One Night With Johnny Phoenix, is a complete evening of entertainment including an after show party mixer for some personal hanging out time with your Uncle Johnny.

Showtime begins at 8 PM with a family-friendly performance. For those who wish to stay after the family-friendly show and enjoy the late night comedy side of Johnny Phoenix, there will be a brief intermission followed by a free bonus performance of my adult comedy show at 9:15 PM. There will also be an after show party mixer immediately following the adult show. That's two different shows for one ticket price. Tickets are only $10 and benefit The Make A Wish Foundation of Middle TN.

One Night With Johnny Phoenix, Saturday June 13 at 8:00 PM at The Boiler Room Theatre. The theatre is located at The Factory At Franklin, 230 Franklin Road Building 6 Franklin, TN 37064. Admission is $10. Need a little relief at tax time? I have filed an extension on the free give away with ticket purchase that ended on April 13th. If you purchase your tickets online before April 30th, you will receive a bottle of one of my Johnny Phoenix brand hot sauces for free. Hot sauce must be claimed at the theatre the night of the show. There are only 60 seats remaining so go to http://www.johnnyphoenix.com/ and get your tickets and free hot sauce before they’re
