Author unknown. When disappointments come one day, And they most certainly will. The way in which I respond to them, Will determine how I feel.
If I let myself get discouraged, I’ll feel distraught, sad and alone. But by looking to God and trusting Him, I can face the future’s unknown.
Could it be that God is testing me? Or wanting me to confront some sin? Could it be that He is chastening me? So He can cleanse my soul within?
I will pray to God and ask Him. Have I somehow slipped from Your will? Guide and direct me to stay on Your path. So Your plans for me I can fulfill.
Help me discern where I went astray. For I shouldn’t be feeling so down. Trials should be making me stronger, Not keeping me captive and bound.
You tell me to rejoice in my troubles, And trust You for You’ll see me through. I can face all life’s disappointments, If I remember I always have You.

On September 11, 2009 the Lord spoke this to me and as usual when I sense a special Word I get paper and pen ready. He loves to speak to us, just give Him the time and listening ear and He will fill it, His sheep do hear His Voice!
"Build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Do not let man lead you down a path I have not chosen for you to take. Lean not on your own understanding, must keep your heart and mind on Me and My Spirit, says the Lord."
"These days men's hearts are filled with fear that I have not placed there, but they have allowed the enemy to come in and then made choices based on that fear. Keep your soul in control. Submit your soul to My Spirit within you."
"Believe again, hope again, dance again and rejoice, I am here in your midst, I have never left you! Come to Me, close in, close in, inside of you, do you not know I dwell within you? I can quiet your soul. I can bring peace to all your members."
"Be still, bring your focus back to Me. I am your Healer, I am your Restorer, Trust Me. I never changed the plans I had for you, to give you a future and a blessed hope for your end. I shall prosper you as I promised."
