Folks who don't like to read about happy people be warned-there ain't a lotta drama here, thankfully. Very happily married to my cute rock and roll husband, we have a wiggly weimy pup and live in a 50's hacienda in Pennsylvania, it fits in here just about as much as we do ;-) My chum Connie called it the Hollywood bungalow, and this was before she even knew me!
Our tiny town is turning itself into a haven for creative types, reusing hopefully as many of the old buildings as possible. You will often see CH and me walking the dog through the park to visit Mrs. Hirsch in her little market or head to The Colonial Theatre, Steel City, the Farmers Market or maybe just the library.
After years of doing the freelance lifestyle (living at the beach, traveling and going on tour with said rockin husband, buying and selling vintage finds, running my groupiegear website) I've now settled happily at a graphic design company within a decent driving distance of home.
Still love music more than anyone has a right to, and have my most fun hanging around with musician pals, either throwing a soiree at the hacienda or at a gig. I also would be happy to spend weeks-on-end reading or catching up on cool movies.
Currently snapping photos like a mod woman, writing, thrifting, and design tees n flyers when the mood strikes. Still love to find the little out of the way gems and wacky things to do, I have been called the cruise director by some, band mom by others, but everyone always seems to enjoy the trip! ..
Who I'd like to meet: pals & folks that I never get to see enough of, or folks who I have something in common with.
I have met enough famous folks to last a lifetime, and while most of them are pretty to look at, there is nothing quite like talking with someone you get along with really well!
when is/was blobfest? i just found out the steve mcqueen was in the blob and i'm on a very big steve mcqueen kick at the moment so i must attend. (p.s. i realize i just admitted that i never saw the blob. p.p.s. can't wait to see you tomorrow!!)
Yay HonFest! I haven't seen a music schedule yet, but I'll undoubtedly be going at least one of the two days. We should try and have lunch or something!
