Jun Lagatuz Jr. started Model Barber Shop in 1975 on Damen and Augusta in Chicago. Model stayed at that location until 1980, when Jun moved to California and was a barber at El Toro Marine base. While there, Jun perfected his fades, flat tops and quickness he is known for today. In 1983 Jun moved back to Chicago and opened Model at Irving Park and Ashland. In 1988, he move to the current location. Slim the Barber worked with Jun from 2000 until 2005 when he opened his own shop in Crystal Lake. Model Barber Shop is looking for a barber or hairstylist WITH A LICENSE.
