The Model Citizens are a Hip-Hop group that represents the culture of streetwear. Model Citizens core group is made up of rappers Spaceghost and Chris-P. The rappers met in January of 2008 The Art Institute of Washington where they currently attend. While Rob(Spaceghost) had been recording for a while Chris(Chris-P) was very new to the scene. The two artist's shared so many musical intrests and anticipated colabing. At the time Chris didnt really show to much interest in the hip hop due to his involvement with his alternative rock band N.U.T.H.I.N. while Rob was working with several artists from Uptown, Washington D.C.. A couple months later they decided to give it a try and they automatically meshed as a duo with their first song "Hometown Flavor", and continue to pump out streetwear classics week by week.
