“Unless you were out sick the day Venn diagrams were discussed in school, you'll likely recall that they're used to graphically represent what two or more groups have in common. Looking at Jeffrey Marsh and Rick Sorkin, you'd swear that their individual circles could not possibly touch, let alone intersect. You'd be wrong. Their artistic overlap is considerable. They are both very smart, very funny, very quick, and enormously talented. Their repertoire ranges from original songs that are just that—original—to material as diverse as Weill/Brecht. Their approach ranges from delightfully silly to intensely dramatic. Although highly distinctive, their interpretations not only respect, but also explore and illuminate the songwriters' intent. What is at work here is not gimmickry, but artistry of the highest order. I knew nothing about The Venn Diagrams before I attended their show; now I hope to see them again and often.”

the show was fantastiche! i did say hi, i just don't always remember to say my name, shake hands, really anything one might classify as a Social Grace. i have black hair, recognized "9 to 5" in 3 notes, laughed my ass off at the rapier wit, and thought u had an original tune that sounded like star trek music. o yeh, daughter she-ra, princess of power.
Only in New York City until the 18th from Alaska, and I was so glad that I got to see you guys perform at the Slipper Room. You were incredible. I reviewed you in my blog.
Miss you on my way too frequent visits to babycakes (goodness they are addicting!) I will definitely come by with some friends to see one of your shows soon! Hope all is well.
Just wanted to say I'm happy to have you numbered among my friends. Hopefully you had a chance to check out my tunes. My debut album Vagabond will be released in on Friday.
Hi Jeffrey, Thanks for the add! LOL, I also have a Jeremy Brett tribute site, but I wanted to be friends with you on my Rufus site too, because I really love your music :) All the best
