Justice & Metro's 839 LP is getting the remix treatment.

Following the release of their critically acclaimed, highly cinematic and left of centre experimental D&B LP Justice & Metro's 839 album is now undergoing the remix treatment.

The 839 remixes will feature, new and up & coming artists as well as established producers and a few old school surprises to boot. It aims to be a lot different to the original making it a very nice package indeed.

Available on digital download late 2011.

As part of the release, Modern Urban Jazz (MJAZZ) would like to offer you the chance to remix a tune too!

Knuckles is a melodic F1 dub/tech cut, and has the scope to be turned into something equally special, no boundaries on tempo's or genres, the competition is open for all producers.

the Aquisse remix project….

for those who don't know, 'Aquisse' is one of Justice's most well known and well
loved tracks. This seminal classic is one of the many reasons why he and the
MJAZZ label are held in such high regard in d&b circles.

2010 marks the tracks 15th birthday so he thought it would be a good opportunity
to bring it up to date and release it for a new generation of d&b fans.

For this he enlisted the talents of no less than 6 of his favourite producers in the
genre at the moment, Sinistarr, Chris Inperspective, Metro, Muted, DiamonD EyE
and Paranoid Society.
