Ryan - drums/percussion
Over the last 20 plus years Ryan's been busy recording and playing with a vast array of musicians. He got started in the music biz as the only drummer in his small hometown of Revelstoke, BC by performing in musicals, jazz sessions, marching bands and with the BC Honours Concert Band to a soldout Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver during his senior year of high school. Ryan went on to graduate from the Selkirk College Professional Music program in Nelson, BC and was presented with the most outstanding drummer award. He's lived in Vancouver for over 10 years and has been constantly touring, recording and playing all styles of music with numerous bands and ensembles. Apart from great experiences playing exciting and demanding shows across Canada, Ryan also spent an extended period performing throughout Mexico. With all of his success however, he continues to strive to become better and looks forward to many more musical ventures.
Ian - bass/backup vocals
Young "Beats" was born into a musical family and began his formal music training at age 5. In 1992, he joined the successful band Green Room.
He holds an interdisciplinary BA from UBC which included studies in popular music, ethnomusicology, music theory and other subjects.
In 2000, Ian took a year-long sabbatical in Holland where he formed and fronted the original R&B group the Leidse All-stars and an improvisational collective called Brown Paper Beats. Upon return to Vancouver he branched out into new terrain with the improvisational club series Flightcase.
More recently, Ian's taken an expanded role in the business area of music and record producing.
