Ernie Glaspey

About me:

My name is Ernie. I love to write; poems, stories and songs. I am a drummer. I am Type A, but can be reclusive at times. I am loud, but scream at a whisper. I choose my friends carefully. I choose my words wisely, but even more so in my writing. I am far from perfect, in fact, I suck at some things. I am however good at several things. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two kids. I don't have custody but still get them every other weekend from Friday through Monday. My daughter is 11, my son 9. They both are growing up far too fast. My daughter already likes boys (but denies it) and is wanting to be a Rockstar and an actress. I have recently informed her that she will be limited to a librarian position. My son wants to be the President someday...vote for Wyatt in 2038. Most of my family lives within 5 miles of where I reside. I own my home(and pay for the associated stress?). If you're still reading this I'm thoroughly impressed. I'm even more impressed if you're interested in reading more. I digress. I've been on myspace for nearly as long as Tom. I'm wondering if I get an award at the 5 and 10 year mark. For work I am a software consultant. I'm the drummer in our 4 person band, as well as some vocals and a song writer and maybe more. I have a roommate who coincidentally is part of the band. He is a music producer by trade. My garage is now a studio, and to be honest, it is probably the coolest thing I've done to date. We are in the process of making an album, and plan to play live locally in December or January. I'm a very giving person. I love to see people smile. I am funny. I am crazy at times. More accurately, I am not crazy at times. I am active. I play basketball, softball, soccer, football and more. I can pick up sports well enough to be good and competitive but am no pro in anything.
