This year's generous donation from Skip's Music, for the Modesto Blues Festival, fundraising, silent guitar auction, with autographs from the 2009 band lineup of players, is a Yamaha Pacifica electric guitar, with gig bag and stand. Silent auction on this takes place as usual near the art venue, and makes the rounds of our stages to get the autographs that go with it. Winning bid announced prior to end of last set, phone number required in case for some reason you went out early to get a better seat at Clayton's, or over to the Black Jax M.C. party on Kansas, so we can confirm, winning bid. Skip's Music a long time partner and sponsor for the Modesto Blues Festival.
We kept getting asked where our location is, and how to get there. Heard from out of town friends on this, and even friends here in Modesto. So, for those unfamiliar with the west side, here's our special map for the Modesto Blues Festival, 2009.
