We have practice every Saturday morning from 9:15am - 1:15pm,and Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:15pm - 9:15pm at Modesto Christian High on Sisk Rd in Modesto. If you would like to check us out, stop by the field and say hello!
Movies
Come check out our booth at the AMGEN Tour of California Cycling Race as it makes it's stop in Modesto on February 20th. We'll be in booth 29 next to the Gallo Center for the Arts from 7am until 4pm.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available through any Modesto Magic player or staff member.

Come meet our players and staff at an open practice on March 15 and March 22 from 10am until Noon!
Come watch the team practice and meet them in person when practice finishes! You'll have the opportunity to meet some incredible women, get autographs, and take some photo's with the players!

Honorary Ball Girl Essay Contest!
Girls ages 8-14 that would like to be on the field with the Magic, this is your chance!
Send us an essay letting us know why YOU should be the ball girl for one of the Modesto Magic's home games. Essays should be at least 100 words and handwritten.
The ball girl will get to lead the Magic onto the field, be on the sidelines until kick-off, her picture made with the team, have her own reserved seat in the stands behind the Magic bench, and get her very own Magic Ball Girl shirt with her name on the back.
One ball girl will be chosen by the team for each of the 4 home games. Entrants will be invited to the Magic's practice on March 29th, where the winners will be announced and have their pictures taken with the team.

We are the only women’s full contact football team in the Central Valley!
We have filled our roster and our athletes have started preparing for the upcoming season.
No more sitting on the sidelines or in the stands for these women. It's getting close to time to actually get out there and "hit" someone and, do it legally without breaking any rules.
They’ve dreamed of the day, that they could put on the pads and play the game.
That time is now here. Thanks to the Modesto Magic and the National Women’s Football Association, their dreams can come true! Thousands of women from all over the country are playing full contact, tackle football.

Who I'd like to meet: Tryouts
You're an athlete and you are tired of sitting on the sidelines or in the stands watching other people play full contact, tackle football. You aren't into powder puff. You want the real deal. And, if you are like 99% of the players in our league, you really want to go out there and "hit someone". And, do it legally without breaking any rules. You've dreamed of the day you could put on all of the pads and play the game.
So, get off the sidelines and into the GAME!

Important NWFA Tryout Information
There is a one time tryout fee of $35.00. You must be at least 18 years old and must also provide proof of insurance. Cleats (soccer cleats are fine) are the preferred footwear. Comfortable, loose-fitting athletic clothes are recommended. Participants will be timed in the 40-yard dash, shuttle run, and four corner drill. There may be other drills at the discretion of those running the tryouts.
DON'T BE SHY!
Even if you think you could never play football, if the desire is there, come and try out! You will never know unless you give it a try. We will teach you how to play.

Sarge has been following Womens Football since 2000. Every year Sarge has picked the Best Players,Coaches,Team Websites in each year.
Sarge has put together a network of Players and Coaches resources. These Coaches and Players provide Sarge with On the field Observations of the the best players in the game. Coaches evaluation of the players they observed. Players will provide information on how well the Players played against them during the game.
