Memories of Dreams Forgotten uses many musical influences which contribute to a unique sound of progressive/experimental, melodic metal.
Originally formed in 2000, Memories of Dreams Forgotten has since made several lineup changes, but all were for the best. Each member brings their own style and unique influences into the band which dictates the overall sound which has been created. The music can be best described as having an experimental European progressive feel that is written predominantly in overture format, a classical style of epic orchestral composition. MODF offers clean female vocals teamed with brutal male screams/growls. The mood shifts are drastic within the songs, evoked by both heavy, hard-hitting, riffs and intricate clean sections. Memories of Dreams Forgotten invites you to take a listen and let their unique sound move you.
