I think I always loved and been into music
First, I grew up with my Dad's record collection, mostly jazz, funk and disco going from Evelyne Champagne to Pink Floyd thru Chicago, Space, Duke Ellington or Miles Davis and I also played piano during my whole childhood
Then, I fell in love with US dance and rap music (Cristal Waters to Big Daddy Kane). Eventually, I ridiculously breakdanced with my brother on Superfly II movie soundtrack. I think I should have get into this seriously, showin'off dancing has always been a big turn on to me.
In the mid 90's, I got introduced to undergound house and techno music thanks to Moodymann, Jeff Mills, Dj Sneak, Surgeon, Dj Duke, Steve Bug, Armand Van Helden. Many years of parties and goose bumps followed. Consequently, I started djing house in 1995, and even produced some fun tracks using my Dad's computer and a Roland Mc-303.
At the end of the 90's, I burnt my speakers and headphones with indie hip-hop and electronica thanks to Vadim, Anti Pop Consortium, Ninja Tune/Big Dada, Company Flow, Squarepusher, Autechre, Aphex Twin and others. I signed an ambiant hip-hop mini album named "mod" on Deontologie Records in 2002 - published in 2004 and produced a track for the Chicago Mc Vyle in 2006. Meanwhile I promoted and organized lots of house and hip-hop parties in South of France including guests like Dj Assault, Sascha Funke, TTC, Existereo, Feadz etc..
In 2007, I finally moved to London and lived there the last 2 years, djing and promoting with Reverb (look up on my friends'Top) parties all over alongside Glimpse, Shonky, Danton Eeprom, Sety, Herve Ak, Lee Van Dowski, Zombie Disco Squad, Hannah Holland etc... Since then, I have also been booked in Paris (Social Club, Flèche d'Or) and Berlin (Golden gate, Berghain Kantine)
I am back in South of France now, re-installing my studio set-up, hoping for a great inspiration too ;-)
