After participating together in various Band projects during the past, founding members Ricardo Paz and Heinz Wallner decided to create and independent project that should present new and revolutionary impetus to the music world: Modula Nation was born and ready to rise.

The debut EP "Rise of the Nebula" that was recorded in most instances by the two multi instrumentalists Ricardo Paz (Bass, Electronics) and Heinz Wallner (Vocals, Electronics) shows imposingly the wideband of musical styles that the band dominates and processes in their songs. With Florian Palier (guitars) and Matthias Ruppnig (Drums) the band found the perfect complement, in order to transpose the songs live in a professional manner.

Modula Nation is generally settled in the field of the progressive Rock, accompanied by diverse electronic elements, however a dissection into a musical drawer is difficult on account of the diverse musical influences, oversimplifications are generally refused by the band.

The Subject matter of the songs swivels around current problems in the field of society, the decay of culture, the boundless exploitation of nature, the war obsessed nature of capitalist profit delusion, however thoughtful songs about the abysses of human relationships are also a part of the bands thematic.

A fusion of Progressive-Rock and electronic music of a young, innovative band - music of the nonstandard class on a high level - after a year of hard work it was possible to ignite the idea an extraordinary concept record.

Yes! ...this is the way it’s gotta be. The complete presentation of a new, young and non-used band with own opinions… Diversified, independent, detached (in a positive manner) and quite capable of becoming cult.

Modula Nation can be described as a sympathetic hybrid between Indy Rock, psychedelic striking sounds and pounding electronic scenery. Opulently, strangely varied and un-stopped. So non-done and uncombed that it is almost offensive already.
