Modulus was started in 1995. The goal was just to write technical and brutal metal. During this time songs were written and modified to fit our idea of what we wanted to accomplish. It was not until 2002 that the rest of the band was solidified with the addition of Ben Kelly on bass, Eric Snyder on vocals and Juan Somarriba on guitars. Modulus has played with such bands as Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Krisiun, Deicide, and Hypocrisy.
