..From Then till Now: The Road which Helped Shape & Define MoeCash™..
MoeCash™ is an Iraqi-Canadian MC hailing from the Royal City of Montreal. After migrating with his family to Canada right before the Gulf War of '92, he settled in his new hometown and started his journey of creative & spiritual self-discovery. Many trials, many pitfalls, many hardships later, MoeCash™ found a passion for rhymes, lyrics & poetry; they provided a gateway to meditation, writing was his medication and it helped him cope with life's constant ups & downs. In college, he began Freestyling and Beatboxing at parties and around friends, which he still enjoys doing up to this day. By his 20s, he finally accepted the fact that he was blessed with several creative gifts, and decided to enroll himself in a specialized intensive program of Music Business at Trebas Institute (Montreal, QC) and graduated with flying colors. The day of his graduation, he made the biggest decision of his life: giving up a high-paying job in a prominent Canadian telecommunication corporation to follow his dreams... no matter the odds. End result: recorded tons of tracks, produced tons of beats and built his very own indie record label from scratch; of which he's poured all of his time, money, energy and soul into.

In 2006, MoeCash™ founded Introspective Records International Enterprise™ (or just IRIE for short), a label which specializes in Enlightentainment (Enlightening Entertainment), concentrating on the Hip-Hop, Rap, Reggae, Electronica and Funk Rock genres of music, in the hope of providing listeners worldwide a dose of spirituality in musical format. However, it does not stop there. His vision of IRIE is not to become just another indie label, but a movement of progressive individuals and a collective society of creative artists. It's all about transmitting a positive message to a universal audience, build bridges between faiths & societies and promoting only the most gifted talents from around the globe. Currently, MoeCash™ serves as a mentor, motivator, friend, brother, adviser, Creative Consultant and quasi-Producer to several artists, namely Mighty Kalipssus (Medellin, Colombia), Phiraz (Manchester, U.K.), Chamzdeen (Montreal, Canada) and Hollow (Montreal, Canada). MoeCash™ has nothing against making money, but he's about encouraging people to look beyond the dollars & cents and see the deeper meaning of life. That is why the name is an acronym which stands for Man Of Entity Calling All Spiritual Humanity™, which is whom MoeCash truly is at the core of his soul. He also uses several other names, such as Proph.It The Blessed MC™, Doc Moe-Flow™(acronym: Mind Over Ego - Feel Love Over Worries) as well as his internet pseudonym (The) IRIEchitect X.
