Moe Provencher is, well, Moe Provencher. Her Band (or Project, or Adventure, or Hour, or whatnot) is most often Aimee Zoe Tubbs, Bob Rice, and Michele Khazak...and when we're lucky, Alana King. A whole bunch of Seattle (and beyond) luminaries played on Blues Filter Through, and when we're really really lucky, they show up on stage as well.
Moe Provencher - Born and bred in Boston before hoppin' on a bicycle at 18 and makin' a dash for Georgia. The Atlanta area had, and still has, a rich community of musicians and songwriters, and it was there that, among the long nights of listening to live music and drinkin' Sweetwater ale, the proverbial performer bug bit. Some years later, she now lives in Seattle working as a musician and audio engineer. After 5 years with alt-country group Pelusa, which self-released albums in both 2005 and 2006, she launched a self-titled solo project with 2007's 4-song EP, 2+2. The full-length follow up, Blues Filter Through, will be released at the end of February. Moe can also be found busking 'round the streets with Aimee as the country/bluegrass duo MoZo.
Aimee Zoe Tubbs - Aimee Zoe Tubbs is a Seattle-based drummer, musician and teacher. In search of good music, strong coffee and clean air, her personal journey has taken her from Iowa City to Seattle, via Boston. An accomplished percussionist and singer, she also dabbles in piano and saxophone. She can be found playing with Seattle americana group The Starlings, busking duo MoZo, as well as various other projects.
Bob Rice - bio (which is really cool) coming soon!
Michele Khazak - tra la la la la and so on and so forth
Alana King - bio comin' soon!
Joanna Maria Hussain - JM lives in Boston, so we only get to play with her a few times a year. It's her phenomenal bass playing that appears on Blues Filter Through.
