Welcome to the politely creepy world of Moesley. In an industry where the phrase"sounds like....."precedes the description of any band, Moesley are a musical anomaly with a true sound of their own. When asked, the band will cite a list of influences from Pink Floyd and Thin Lizzy to Bob Marley and Aphex Twin, but none of these influences are overtly worn on their collective sleve. Instead, haunting, visceral, honest and beautiful songs are at the forefront of their sonic assault, and over-the-top posturing takes a back seat to solid musicianship and songwriting.
Moesley released their debut single "All Thats Left" on the 6th Oct 2006. "All Thats Left" went straight into the top 30 Irish single charts in the same week. The band received heavy praise from critics for their musicianship and work ethic alike. The single also earned them many high profile TV, Radio, Newpaper publications, Webzines and gigs around the country.
Their debut E.P. "I'll Be Your Freak" was released in 2005, and was extremely well received from its listeners and the industry alike. Through various websites the E.P. has had in excess of 50,000 downloads and plays. The E.P. also earned them a slot on Television on Ray Shahs "On The Box" on city Channel and various big name radio stations like Mike Hogans FM104 show "Open Mic" and Tom Brannigans 98FM show "Live Talk" it also got the onto The Compilation Returns: The Best of Irish Unsigned, a collection of the cream of the crop of Irish Unsigned acts.
In addition to their recording endeavours, the quintet have honed a high-energy live set over the last two years that has earned them a dedicated following. Moesley have toured extensively both inside and outside the Pale, and have played some of the most reputable venues in Ireland including Whelans, Temple Bar Music Centre, Sugar Club, Crawdaddy (Supporting Emmett Tinley), The Music Factory, Trinity College and D.I.T. Moesley also headlined a charity event called Paul-Aid which raised over 10,000euro for the Kiserian childrens Project in Tanzania www.myspace.com/paulaid.

I’m launching my new single, “It’s Coming Down”, with a full band show at The Button Factory (formerly Temple Bar Music Centre) on Sunday, June 29th. The band will showcase new songs from my forthcoming album and favourites from my recent album ‘A Whisper in a Riot’.
