You're probably thinking, "Why should I give a shit? I mean, every bar in town has karaoke... Why should I come to this one?"
Well... Tassie and Damon designed MoFoKaraoke to deliver all the things they always wanted out of karaoke and more.
We utilized all the benefits of the Elbow Room and expanded on them. Every singer is treated like they are in a real band. Sound monitors allow them to hear the music and their vocals. Lighting is in full effect, including spotlights and a mirror ball. As a bonus, both a smoke and bubble machine! Then, just to push it over the top, we added an ever expanding prop box full of hats and wigs, capes, percussion implements and even an inflatable guitar!
The playlist is focused on quality not quantity. The Grease soundtrack is deliberately omitted as is all "young country"...The focus is on old school country, 80s pop and hair metal, indie rock, punk (old and new) and other stuff we deem awesome... We also try our best to give you new songs you want...
So come out and have a great time... We will do our best to provide!
Who I'd like to meet: People who aren't insecure and self-concious, wrapped in a little ball of shame cowering and pleading for acceptance in a cold and bitter reality.
People who can rescind that stigma and just have fun...
You don't have to be a karaoke singer, but you do need to know how to have a good time.

Hello there, Tassie. I just want you to know that EVEN though you never call and never write, I've still got a soft spot for you... So, I'm gonna pop in, some time this week (re: Thursday, yeah... You knew that) and give you a l'il hug. Then I'm gonna give you a l'il awesome.
Thanks for still keeping me in the top friends, Tass! I miss mofo every EVERY Thursday, sometimes other days, too. Did you know that there is not one single pic of me singing in MoFo's pics? I found that odd.
Anyway, miss you, miss mofo, miss Elbow, miss Ypsi (not as much as I love NY tho).
