Mogul Street Reserve is a collective of songwriters and instrumentalists whose origins lie in the Panhandle of Florida. The band was founded by Byron Clark (drums, vocals), Jack Pfiester (bass, vocals), Chris Prinzel (guitars, vocals), and Ryan Wood (guitars, vocals). These musicians united to form Mogul Street Reserve in January of 2006 when life-long friends Byron Clark and Ryan Wood met their equals Jack Pfiester and Chris Prinzel. They have since relocated to Tampa and established a reputation for putting on high energy live performances that appeal to fans of progressive music as well as casual music listeners. Most recently Mogul Street Reserve's lineup has shifted into a power trio... The band has been writing new material and wrapping up completion of its second professional recording; another three song EP exhibiting the band's appreciation for musicianship as well as their strong melodic sensibility and knack for memorable hooks. Stay tuned for the exciting near-future of this ambitious group of musicians...
"Mogul Street Reserve were on stage when I arrived and their set was all I’d hoped for and more: spirited, accessible, hot-jamming progressive rock with lots of good clean shredding by Wood and Pfiester, a surprise since it’s not often you see a bassist traveling up and down the neck of his instrument and coaxing out notes like some sort of second lead guitarist. And he still managed to maintain a solid rapport with the drummer while engaging in occasional guitar-versus-bass dueling. And the drummer — geez, that dude could pound some skins and brought the syncopated rhythms with much ease and flare. I enjoyed watching all three perform; they were not only tight but kept the good time energy going all throughout their set."-Creative Loafing
"Mogul Street Reserve is a Tampa prog-rock power trio whose members have probably lost a few girlfriends from spending too much time practicing. It has to be all they do. How else would they get so disgustingly good at their instruments, write seriously impressive guitar and vocal melodies, and come up with all those crazy time signatures?"-REAX Magazine
