Mohave played its very first show on August 30th, 1999 at the House Of Blues - Downtown Disney and has been hard at work ever since. A uniquely alternative Americana band that features electric Appalachian mountain dulcimer as its central instrument, Mohave takes its cue from early musical roots; African slave chants, Native American Indian flute and rhythms and Celtic reels, then mixes those influences with a head-spinning trip through roots, blues, jazz, country, rock, pop, metal, reggae, Tex-Mex, latin and bluegrass.
The band's sweat-soaked live show is a high-energy crowd-pleasing affair that has earned them a dedicated fan following throughout the southeast. Throughout the years they've shared the stage and opened for such headlining acts as Molly Hatchet, The Crests ("Sixteen Candles"), Subject To Change and St. Somewhere.
