The Grizzly Bar @ the Mohawk has opened its doors for daily blue collar happy hour. The new hours of operation are as follows:
TUE-SAT:
Grizzly Bar Happy Hour: 5PM - 8PM, cocktails and grub
The Mohawk: 8PM-2AM, live music

The Grizzly Bar will be a daily platform for pouring great music in your ear and cold beers in your cakehole. For a buck.
Here are some tips when you encounter your first Grizzly Bar in Austin:
Grizzly Bars are normally shy of humans and you should quickly get out of its way when it sees you. There are a number of things you can do if you spot a grizzly bar on a trail or one enters your campsite or downtown area.
1. Cautiously approach the Grizzly Bar to get a better look. Grab a stool and quietly drink your whiskey. After settling up, slowly back away while watching the Grizzly Bar and wait for it to focus its attention elsewhere.
2. Bring pepper spray and tip money as a precaution. If the Grizzly Bar bartender is attracted to your food or garbage, you will be hurtin for certain.
3. It is important to keep stiffs away from the Grizzly Bar. The Grizzly can smell a stiff or a square a mile away.
If the Grizzly Bar tries to approach you, here is how you should react:
1. Stop. Face the Grizzly Bar. Do not run or back down. If you are with others, stay together and act as a group. Make sure the Grizzly Bar is calm, then yell and wave your arms to make yourself look bigger. Use a whistle or airhorn if you have one. The idea is to be aggressive and to persuade the Grizzly Bar to serve you a whiskey drink. This will work if the Grizzly Bar is still partly afraid of humans.
2. If these attempts fail, dangle some buffalo jerky in the air (with pepper spray ready) to distract the Grizzly Bar and send your friends around the flank to grab a cold beverage for you.
3. Climbing a tree to get away from the Grizzly Bar may offer you little advantage as there is no cocktail service for people in trees.
4. The Grizzly Bar may make its presence known to you, it may make huffing or "popping" sounds, swat or beat the ground with its forepaws or even bluff charge. This is the Grizzly Bars way of telling you that you don't day drink enough. Back off, admit you were wrong, and give the Grizzly Bar more of your time.
5. Make Happy Hour 'happy' again. Go to the Grizzly Bar and order a Growler.
